No, but all I did was shift the mounting points on the column back about an inch. Re drilled the one on the column itself and then slotted the dash bar mounts. Moved the column closer by about 1.25”

@@mrchina2607 yup I figured it out I got a can bus miscommunication and had to reflash my tune car runs fine now

@@Z34_TR So you had a tune previously done before cutting the yaw sensor wire? I wanna do it now while the car is stock, hopefully I won't have the same issue

@@mrchina2607 I think you should be fine just talk to your tuner I think mine was a freak accident but I also cant use launch control or the backfire tune I had so I need to get that situated

The lines came off no problem. I wouldn’t even remember what tips to give it was so uneventful

Yea that works too. just if you want to wire the brake signal relay as well it would need to be switched ground. Typically it is better to cut the ground, but in this case it’s just sensor low voltage so really not a problem.

I unfortunately only know about the pre 2013 models I’ve read the later models have a more redundant brake signal

@anthonymarquina8581 I don’t believe so. You also can get a coil over kit that utilizes the stock toe arms and leaves the springs on the buckets. But for a true setup you just need to replace the toe arms

Extra weight is negligible. The nismo exhaust adds 15-18hp over stock anyway

Nope that wire is only ecu signal for throttle cut (safety mechanism if pedal fails open) not for the brake lights.

It is extremely important you have both tires spinning at all times when drifting. You can’t do that with an open diff. If you want to get into drifting I would recommend getting the open diff welded so both wheels will always spin together.

@@TimCowleyDrift I am saving up for an LSD swap I was just curious if I could do small parking lot drifts just to get a feel for the car while im waiting to get the LSD because of right now with the engine cutting the tires I cant even do a burnout.

Yea the feel you’ll get will be completely wrong

It’s just a signal wire I doubt it even needs close to 10 amp

I had the 1j patch harness just to connect to the wiring specialties 1j harness I already had

I just so happened to have it laying around totally unnecessary to have that much headroom. Also I can’t imagine you could do any damage your only interrupting signals, not overloading anything.

I know Ztech cs2000 has a module they sell to do this, and he has made it that you splice into the yaw sensor ground wire for grounding the module/relay instead of grounding it to the body, could you do the same for the way you have done it?

The whole purpose of the relay is to control two separate circuits with one switch. If you just want to cut the brake signal you can just put a switch on that wire

Yea cut the wire going to ecu and one wire to each end from switch

I dont know what wire it is on a 350z though
